I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Comparative Government currently working on a project examining the development of U.S. counterinsurgency theory between 1898-2008. My other work has looked at the Eurasianist movement in Russia, land reform in Georgia, and the spread of HIV throughout the former Soviet Union. I also teach and consult.
